Iam also a filmmaker who specializes in creating web videos or webfilms. I use the same broadcast production values that you would find on a TV or movie screen. The process always begins and ends with a script because it is all about story, creating a digital narrative. Storyboards, story arcs, accomplished actors, DOP, makeup, voiceover narration, sound mixing, royalty-free soundtracks, professional edit and post compression codecs are employed in every webfilm that is created from scratch. I also use stock broadcast footage when dictated by budget or other considerations. The web videos can be upscaled to be shown on television, DVDs or streamed from the web.

In today’s world, video is shot with cell phones, iPads, mobile devices, flip cameras, camcorders. It is ubiquitous. We are inundated with video clips, most of which are simply badly shot because expedience trumps value. Nonetheless, viewers are used to high-end productions – that is why billions of advertising dollars continues to be spent on television and internet ads. They work. So does a good web film.
